There’s an unwritten law in painting that I’ve never really seen broken (except maybe for some abstract paintings). Not fully covering your canvas with paint. It seems no one ever dares to go any further than a small forgotten white spec somewhere in a distant corner.
Fortunately there are always people like me that derive pleasure from breaking dumb rules. Total rebel.
